Privacy policy

This policy explains what MotoPics, operated by Movsoft LLC (Ohio), collects when you use motopics.net, why, and what you can do about it. We don't sell personal information, and we don't run advertising or third-party tracking on the site.

Riders and buyers

• Searching uses the race number and colors you type. We don't link searches to who you are.
• Buying: we keep your email address, what you bought, and your private order link, and email you the link and receipt. Stripe handles your card; we never see the full number. For prints, we collect your shipping address and share it with our print lab.
• Notifications: if you ask to be told when a photographer posts new photos of you, we store your search with the push address your browser gives us, or with your email address (only used once you confirm it, and only for these notifications). They're kept until you turn them off from a notification, an email's unsubscribe link, or the photographer's page.
• Your browser keeps your cart and links to your orders in local storage on your device. You can clear it any time.

Photos of riders

Photographers upload photos taken at public motorsports events. To help riders find themselves, we automatically read race plate numbers and bike and gear colors from each photo. We don't use facial recognition or create face templates. Previews are watermarked, and the full photo is only available to people who buy it.

If you're in a photo, or you're the parent or guardian of a rider in one, you can have it removed without giving a reason on our remove a photo page.

Photographers

We store your name, email address, password (hashed, never in plain text), prices, photos and their capture times, and your Stripe account ID. Stripe collects the identity and bank details needed for payouts under its own privacy policy. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Your studio page is public: the name, page address, bio, links and profile and cover photos you add there can be seen by anyone.

Who we share data with

We use these service providers, only for running MotoPics:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores photos and data.
• Stripe processes payments and photographer payouts.
• Anthropic may analyze photos to read race numbers and colors.
• Prodigi prints and ships print orders.
• Resend sends our emails.
• Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, so Google sees your IP address when pages load.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

Children

Many riders are minors. Buyers should be adults or have a parent's permission, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

Orders are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Photos stay until the photographer deletes them or they're removed on request. Sign-in sessions last 30 days and password reset links one hour.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailingsupport@motopics.net. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we'll honor them.
